The Speaker waived the Finance Committee referral for the following                                                             
at the request of Representative Meyer, Co-chair:                                                                               
                                                                                                                                
    HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 9                                                                                                
    Proposing an amendment to the section of the Constitution of the                                                            
    State of Alaska relating to marriage.                                                                                       
                                                                                                                                
HJR 9 was removed from the Finance Committee and referred to the                                                                
Rules Committee for placement on the calendar.
